find the application for the Rimfire Silhouette match. Please print,
fill out and return to Mr. Griggs along with your check.

DATES: May 20-Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championship
May 21-Smallbore Hunting Rifle Silhouette Championship
Entry Fees:
| $60. both days. Fees include NRA and NCRPA sanction fees,
lunch both days, t-shirt, and tips for target setters. |
MEMBERSHIP: NRA membership is required. NCRPA membership is required
for N.C. residents. Out of state competitors must be members of their
state associations.
REGISTRATION: Registration forms along with checks or money orders must
be received by May l IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT. Post Entries accepted
until match time or range capacity is reached.
EARLY REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED AS RANGE CAPACITY MAY BE REACHED
BEFORE THE MATCH BEGINS.
RANGE CAPACITY: 48 shooters per day. Don’t miss your chance to
participate. Please register early!
PRACTICE: The range will be open for practice on Friday at 12:00 and on
match days from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 A. M.
TIME: The matches will begin promptly at 9:00 each day.
SQUADDING: All competitors will be squadded. Let the match director
know with whom you would like to be squadded. We cannot guarantee which
animal you will start on. Competitors will score for relay following them.
COURSE OF FIRE: Tournament will consist of two 40 shot matches each day
as follows:
10 shots at Chickens at 40 meters
10 shots at Javelinas at 60 meters
10 shots at Turkeys at 77 meters
10 shots at Rams at 100 meters
AWARDS: Will be based on the 80-shot aggregate.
Shoot-offs for ties and long run records will be fired after the
tournament each day. Anyone setting a record of any kind must notify the
statistician immediately in order for the paperwork to be completed.
RULES: Current NRA Smallbore Rifle Silhouette rules will apply. Empty
chamber indicators will be required. Please read and understand the rule
book.
CLASSIFICATION: Section l9 will apply. Unclassified shooters will
compete as Masters unless two are Present to make a class. Lone
competitors will shoot in the next higher class. Two competitors make a
stand-alone class.
AWARDS: N. C. Open State Champion award will be presented to the
highest scoring
Competitor. The N. C. State Champion must be a N. C. resident. A 2nd
and 3rd
Open along with four places will be awarded in each class. Awards will
be
Plaques and will be awarded at the conclusion of the 2nd match each
day.
